Dipesh Chakrabarty
Dipesh Chakrabarty is the Lawrence A. Kimpton Distinguished Service Professor of History at the University of Chicago. He is the author of Provincializing Europe: Postcolonial Thought and Historical Difference (Princeton: Princeton University Press, 2007; 2000) and a co-editor of From the Colonial to the Postcolonial: India and Pakistan in Transition (Delhi: Oxford University Press, 2007).
