Etienne Balibar is distinguished professor at Paris-Ouest University and invited professor at Columbia University. He is the author of many books on Marx and political philosophy. He is the author of We, The People of Europe? Reflections on Transnational Citizenship and Equaliberty: Political Essays. His most recent works focus on secularism, universalism and translation.
